Betar Dental is proud to support Team Wyatt at this year's Out of the Darkness walk to raise awareness for suicide prevention.
Red Nose Day is an event held to raise money and awareness for children in need. This year Betar Dental participated because we care for kids!
In honor of National Children's Dental Health Month in February, Betar Dental hosted two free dental clinics. At these dental clinics, we provided free exams and cleanings to children in the community. Prizes were raffled off, and every patient received a goody bag to take home. Follow us on Facebook for upcoming events, and to see where the Betar Dental staff will be next.
Every spring Betar Dental participates in two Healthy Kid Fairs. The local YMCA hosts a fun filled and educational fair for children in April. Betar Dental is proud to help sponsor this event and we look forward to it every year. It is a great chance to get out into our community to educate the children and parents on the importance of good oral hygiene.
In 2017, we embraced National Children's Dental Health month by going to a local pre-school to read to the children. The story taught the children that the dentist office is a fun place and not a scary one. Next year perhaps we will see your child at their school.
In honor of Children's Dental Health Month, our staff went to two local daycares to educate the children on their dental health. The stories taught the children the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day, and how to maintain proper care. We're looking forward to visiting a new group of children next year!
Betar Dental donated 75 oral hygiene bags to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Blair County.
Tooth Fairy's assistant was seen at the Hollidaysburg Area Public Library reading to over 30 children about taking care of their teeth and handing out goody bags. Thanks Ms. Melanie for hosting us.
Betar Dental donated 100 toothbrushes, 100 tubes of toothpaste, and 100 packs of dental floss to Kelly Williams, who runs the Issues with Altoona Area School District Facebook.
